The lack of participation by Cathedral parishioners in this annual event has been observed by members of other churches. Msgr. O’Neill is encouraging greater participation from Cathedral parishioners.

The Christian Service Committee sponsors Personal Hygiene Packets for the Social Apostolate Center. Sr. Pauline wrote to say they are in dire need. We are asking parishioners to donate travel size packs of soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, and white wash cloths for these Hygiene Packs. This is an ongoing project. If any hotel or company can supply a larger quantity, a letter of contribution will be written. Our mission is to promote awareness to encourage involvement from the parish to the needs of the less fortunate. We appreciate all your support and generosity. “Whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, that you do unto Me”. Boxes will be maintained in the vestibule of the Cathedral or contact Bill Wade at 507-1212.
